Draft for KINDRED's approval
Terms of use
Last updated 27 October 2026 · version terms-2026-10-27.2
These terms apply when you use KINDRED FIVE (mykindredfive.com), which is run by Entre-tec, LLC, doing business as KINDRED, 602 Wetmore Ave, Everett, WA 98201, USA (“KINDRED”, “we”). You agree to them when you tick the box to start your Kindred Five, and again when you ask us to email your five or pay for a reflection; we keep which version you agreed to, and when. The privacy notice explains how we handle your information.
What KINDRED FIVE is
KINDRED FIVE offers reflective personal discovery. It compares your birth chart with those of notable people and presents five of them as mirrors for reflection. It is for reflection and enjoyment. It is not prediction, diagnosis, therapy, or medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and it should not be relied on for decisions of that kind.
Who can use it
You must be 18 or older. Please enter your own birth details, or someone else's only with their permission.
How your results are made
- Your five are chosen by fixed rules that compare charts. Nobody, and no AI, picks them by hand.
- The texts are written by an AI from approved, sourced material about each person, and checked automatically before you see them. They can still contain mistakes, or simply not fit you.
- Results depend on the birth details you enter, and on public sources for the notable people. Each card shows how solid that person's birth data is.
Notable people
The people in the catalog are presented for reflection, using approved, sourced material. They are not connected with KINDRED and do not endorse it, and no affiliation with them or their estates is implied. Their names belong to them or their estates.
Asking Echo
- Each question is a separate, one-time purchase of USD 2.99 for one complete written reflection. There is no subscription and nothing renews. Prices are in US dollars and include any sales tax or VAT; the payment page may show the amount in your local currency.
- You pay on Stripe's secure page. Your purchase is sold through Link, Stripe's checkout service, which collects and pays any sales tax or VAT, emails you a receipt, and appears on your card statement as LINK.COM* MYKINDREDFIVE. We never see your card details.
- Questions are checked before you pay. If Echo can't answer a question as written (for example a request to predict events, or for medical, legal or financial advice), you will be asked to rephrase it before paying.
- Echo's reflection appears on screen and is emailed to you with your receipt. If it can't be delivered, we will deliver it by email or refund you. Other refund requests are at KINDRED's discretion: write to us.
- Please contact us before disputing a payment with your bank, so we can put things right quickly.
Not a crisis service
Echo is a reflective guide, not a crisis service. If you may be in danger or crisis, please contact your local emergency number or a crisis line now: in the US, call or text 988; in the UK and Ireland, Samaritans on 116 123; elsewhere, find a local line at findahelpline.com.
Emails you ask for
If you ask us to email your Kindred Five, we send your five with a link back to your result. Wherever we ask for your email, two optional boxes are offered, both unticked and separate from each other: a birthday card from KINDRED each year, and news, a few times a year at most, about ‘Your Soul's Curriculum’ and other new experiences from the creators of KINDRED. If you tick the news box, we also keep your birth details for those experiences, so you don't need to enter them again. Tick the boxes only for your own birth details and email address. You can opt out of either at any time with the link in any email from us, and opting out of news deletes the birth details kept for it.
Sharing
You can share your Kindred Five. The shared page shows your first name, your five and your Recurring Resonance, never your birth details or your questions. Anyone with the link can open it, so share it with care. You can ask us to delete your result at any time.
Fair use
- Use KINDRED FIVE for your own reflection.
- Don't submit abusive, hateful or sexual content, or other people's private information.
- Don't copy the site or its catalog in bulk, use automated tools on it, or try to get around its limits, checks or security.
We may limit or refuse access to anyone who misuses the service.
Ownership
KINDRED owns the site, its design, its catalog texts and its software. Your questions and results are yours. You give KINDRED permission to process them only to provide the service and what you agree to, as described in the privacy notice. You may keep, print and share your own results and reflections for personal, non-commercial use.
Changes to the service
We may change, add or remove features, or change prices for future purchases. A purchase you have already made keeps its price. We may pause the service for maintenance, and will try to keep that short.
Liability
KINDRED FIVE is provided as it is, without promises that it will suit a particular purpose or be free of errors. To the extent the law allows, KINDRED is not liable for decisions you make based on a reflection, and its total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid KINDRED in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or takes away rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, and disputes go to the courts of Snohomish County, Washington, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring them elsewhere.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will update this page and its date first. The terms in place when you made a purchase apply to that purchase.
